Netplus Broadband has onboarded Punjabi singer-actor Ammy Virk and actor Tania as brand ambassadors as the company looks to strengthen its connection with households across North India.
The partnership will be supported by three advertising films built around the campaign line, “Family ki jo bhi ho demand, Netplus hazir on command.” The campaign highlights the brand’s television, Wi-Fi and over-the-top (OTT) entertainment services, with films scheduled to roll out over the coming weeks, including during the Diwali period.
A campaign centred on family needs
With internet connectivity and digital entertainment becoming part of everyday family life, Netplus is positioning its services around a broad range of household needs—from staying connected and working online to watching television and streaming content.
The campaign’s central message presents Netplus as a service provider ready to respond to the different demands of family members. By bringing Ammy Virk and Tania into the campaign, the brand is also drawing on their association with regional audiences.
Building a stronger regional connection
According to Arshdeep Singh Mundi, Executive Director of Jujhar Group, which owns Netplus Broadband, the collaboration reflects the company’s focus on reliable service and a closer relationship with customers in North India.
Aps Dua, Group CEO of Jujhar Group, also highlighted the growing role of broadband in how families learn, work and entertain themselves. He said the campaign is intended to communicate the brand’s offering in a familiar language and through screens consumers already use.
What this means for the brand
The partnership brings together celebrity-led communication and a service-focused message. Rather than highlighting connectivity alone, the campaign brings television, Wi-Fi and OTT offerings under one family-oriented proposition.
The three-film rollout, including during Diwali, gives Netplus an opportunity to reach audiences during a period when family entertainment and media consumption are especially relevant.
As the campaign rolls out, its messaging will place Netplus at the intersection of home connectivity and entertainment, with a focus on meeting the varied digital needs of households across its markets.
