Cheil X Appoints Tania Sinha to Lead Delhi Office; Geetika Chadha to Head Influencer Marketing

Cheil X has appointed Tania Sinha to lead its Delhi office and brought Geetika Chadha on board to head influencer marketing for Cheil India, strengthening two important areas of its marketing operations.

The appointments come as advertising agencies continue to expand integrated offerings that combine brand strategy, creative development, digital communication and creator-led campaigns.

Tania Sinha to Lead Delhi Operations

Sinha joins Cheil X from Ogilvy, where she served as Category Lead for Sparkling INSWA, working with major beverage brands across markets.

In her new role, she will oversee the agency’s Delhi operations, with a focus on business growth, client relationships and strengthening its regional presence. Her experience in brand building and integrated communications is expected to support the agency’s work across categories and marketing channels.

Her appointment follows the departure of Kanika, who had previously led the Delhi office. The leadership change comes as Cheil X continues to develop its integrated marketing capabilities and expand its presence in key Indian markets.

Geetika Chadha to Lead Influencer Marketing

Geetika Chadha will lead Cheil India’s influencer marketing division, bringing experience across content strategy, consumer understanding and brand communications.

She was most recently associated with Reckitt, where she joined as a Content Strategist in 2023. Before that, she worked at Mindshare and held roles across media and advertising organisations, including GroupM, Havas Worldwide, Iris Worldwide, Webchutney and Bates Enterprise.

Her appointment gives influencer marketing a dedicated leadership focus within the agency’s broader service offering.

Creator-Led Campaigns Become a Strategic Priority

Influencer marketing has evolved from a specialist social media activity into a more integrated part of brand communication. Brands increasingly use creators to develop content, build community engagement and reach audiences through formats that complement traditional advertising.

For agencies, the challenge is to connect influencer partnerships with wider campaign objectives, including brand positioning, media planning and measurable business outcomes.

Chadha’s role is expected to support this integration as Cheil India develops its creator-led capabilities.

Strengthening an Integrated Marketing Model

The two appointments underline Cheil X’s focus on combining regional leadership with specialised marketing expertise. While Sinha’s role centres on Delhi operations and business development, Chadha’s mandate focuses on influencer marketing and creator-led communication.

Together, the appointments reflect the changing demands placed on advertising agencies, which are increasingly expected to deliver connected solutions across creative, digital, content and customer engagement.

As Cheil X continues to build its capabilities, leadership across regional markets and emerging marketing disciplines will remain important to its growth strategy.
